White Teak Burl

This tropical hardwood variety is commonly found in the Southeast Asia region and surrounds. White Teak is possibly the most widely planted and valued timber in the world. The wood is allowed to mature and develop making it denser, which creates a tighter grain and smoother finish. White Teak timber is reasonably strong for its weight and seasons well without degrading, but it is slow to dry both in the open and in a kiln.
